The Education Office
The focus of the Office is two-fold.
- Students -- Here students will find essays, resources and web links to help them address many frequently asked questions about the nature and practice of physics, the career opportunities within physics, and how to more effectively study physics.
- Teachers and faculty -- As faculty begin to work with under-represented groups in physics they may begin to have a few questions on how to more effectively engage students both inside and outside the classroom. Here teachers and faculty will find ... not answers, but many more questions ... and also resources and web links.
But note that each member of the NSHP is dedicated to improving the educational and career opportunities available to all Hispanic-Americans. And so many of the programs and efforts which the Society has developed were done ouside the activities of the Education Office.
